Web applications

A web application is a good solution for expanding existing digital service offerings, either by developing separate application functionalities within the current web service or building independent services to support other business operations.

When there is a need to quickly and cost-effectively implement more limited service offerings, a web application is often the best solution. A web application is always used within a device’s browser, making it suitable for situations where the service needs to be accessible both on a computer and a mobile device. Even though the world is increasingly shifting towards mobile usage, the option for computer usage is still necessary for many services.

We primarily develop progressive web applications (PWAs), with the main focus on enhancing our clients’ digital business operations and gaining a competitive edge.

As the need for an application is closely tied to the client’s business and often integrates into a larger service framework, understanding the client’s overall business is at the heart of our collaboration. Our approach to meeting the client’s needs is consistently business-centric, ensuring that the implemented service generates maximum value for the business and provides a sustainable, cost-effective, and expandable technical foundation for future development.

With a focus on understanding the business, our approach leads to almost always forming ongoing partnerships with our clients, where the benefit goes beyond mere technical expertise.

What is a progressive web app (PWA)?

A Progressive Web App, or PWA, is an application that functions similarly to a regular website within a browser, but with additional advantages such as:

  • loading speed
  • push notifications
  • partial offline usage
  • energy efficiency

Good examples of progressive web apps include digital magazines (where content can be read offline), various search services (such as real estate listings and travel destination services), different appointment and booking services, and later extending a mobile app’s functionality (to a certain extent) for use on a computer (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
